Saturn’s Lesson of Authenticity and Leadership

There are days when the universe taps gently on your shoulder.

And there are others—like Sunday —when it slams open the door, drags in its symbolic luggage, and sets up camp in your psyche.

May 24 marked the beginning of Saturn’s transit through Aries, landing right into my 1st house. For those fluent in astrology, you know what that means: identity. Ego. Presence. For those less familiar—it’s like Saturn pulled out a clipboard, raised an eyebrow, and started evaluating my entire being with a red pen.

Cue: a whole existential mood.

Gratitude

Surrounded by love,

I celebrate my healing.

Blessed and grateful.

A.G.

It’s been a very long healing journey and the last 3,5 years were more intense in this regard. I pulled myself back from many social interactions and engaged only in those that felt good and supportive. This time was about the relationship with myself. Most of my spare time was dedicated to journaling, drawing, developing new skills, exercising and, most importantly, engaging with my inner child. My work colleagues became my friends and a huge support system.

36 years wise

I was having a conversation the other day at work about past events in the history of Europe and my country (Romania). And by that, I don’t mean that it doesn’t have the capacity to build neural pathways that are involved in the state of happiness, but that its first and primary function is our safety.

30 days, 30 haiku poems

I found in a book I read recently this great idea of writing each day a Haiku poem for 30 days as a meditation practice. I thought I’d give it a try.

Farewell, dear 33!

I remember feeling right from the beginning that it would be a special year. I wanted it to be about joy and authenticity, and in many respects it was. I started writing more frequently, created more content in various forms, explored new hobbies and made a career change. It was a year about healing, regrouping, spending time with my family, as well as saying goodbye (my grandfather and two childhood friends passed away this year).

It’s about time…

I breathe deeply.

I live my life full-heartedly.

I trust my strength and my becoming.

I rejoice seeing the light of the day each morning.

Because who knows where the time goes?
